I pride myself on adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of my service. I am persistent and determined to give each person willing to work with me the best service possible. Before you make a decision, get to know me a little more below to hear about my story!

Who am I?

My name is Kaimana McCreadie. I am 25 years old and currently living in Sioux City, Iowa. I was born in Orange County, California. I am of proud Native Hawaiian and Filipino Descent. My parents were both raised in the chain of the Polynesian and Micronesian Islands. I was raised in beautiful and sunny Southern California. Growing up, I spent a lot of my time in the water and staying active. I competed in sports such as baseball, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, and wrestling which I found the most success in. I found great success in my respective sport and it gave me an opportunity to pursue a better life for myself. In 2019, I was faced with a decision to either attend San Francisco State University as an English Major or attend Morningside University in Sioux city, Iowa as a Business major. Since I would have been pursuing to compete in wrestling at both options, I was extremely torn between which path to step foot on. I ultimately decided to relocate to Sioux City, Iowa to pursue a wrestling scholarship at Morningside University.

I competed and started for the wrestling team for 3 years before suffering a career ending injury to my shoulders. I completed my bachelors degree in religion and psychology, and graduated in May of 2023. I now permanently reside in Sioux City, Iowa with my wife Madison and dog Moana.

Growing up, I always had a great fascination for art, poetry, photography, and philosophy. However, with my busy schedule of training and competition, I was unable to pursue all of the things that I had wished too since my priorities were focused around training. During the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, I was living back home in Irvine, California after my first semester of college. During the shutdowns I watched a movie called "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". In that movie, I was heavily inspired by a quote which stated, "To see the world, things dangerous to come, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life."

After this, I felt inspired to pursue photography and see where the journey would lead me. I bought a start up canon and began taking pictures of everything I could find. Luckily, being in Southern California, the ocean and landscape was a great place to begin. As the years have passed, I have continued to pursue bettering my skills and creative eye by bringing my camera alongside me to explore the places and experiences that life presents to me. Truly, this is an expression of life through the lens of my camera.

This journey for me is about creating life long memories. I strongly believe that photos need no words to describe exactly how a story feels or appears. The beauty of photography is that you can feel a thousand different ways about a time in history without the whisper of a word. I wish to create moments in time and memories that are worth lasting. The types of services that I offer are listed in the "services offered" section of the website. In addition to photography, I also will be continuously updating my blog of "Life through my lens" which gives each photo I chose to upload a story from my own eyes. I hope to give you the best experience possible.
